BASIC PISTOL SAFETY TRAINING PROGRAM

This course conveys the knowledge and skills that are fundamental to safely handle, own, store, and enjoy your pistol. We work with you to ensure that you have a firm grasp of the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship and demonstrate safe firearm handling skills. Students will be working with instructors with over 30 years of combined experience in firearms training. Once basic academics and marksmanship training with a pistol is completed, you will receive an NRA Certificate of Completion.

Approximately 100 rounds of ammunition will be fired during the training program. Ammunition can be purchases at the range.
STUDENTS ENROLLING IN ANY G-SQUARE FIREARMS TRAINING PROGRAMS MUST POSSESS A VALID FIREARMS PERMIT

- pistol nomenclature and operation
- ammunition
- shooting fundamentals
- range rules
- shooting from the bench rest position
- two handed standing positions
- cleaning the pistol
- continued opportunities for skill development.
- Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure,
- Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet.
